Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information from Mind Harmony Psychology Clinics
We have been monitoring the developments and spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, your health and safety as well as the health and safety of our clinicians is of utmost importance to us. For now we will be continuing to treat clients. We will be ensuring your safety by continuing to follow our usual stringent hygiene practices as well as taking the following extra precautions.
Hand hygiene – this is for you as well as for us. Our clinicians always thoroughly wash hands and exposed skin on our arms between every sessions. We will be ensuring that we do this at both the beginning and end of every session. We will also be asking everyone who enters the clinic to wash their hands upon their arrival.
If we are unwell and or have any symptoms of illness we will NOT be working.
Surface cleaning – all our surfaces (even including things like the pens on the front desk) are regularly cleaned with alcohol based wipes each day. This has been increased to several times per day, and between every client where practicable.
If you are ill – We would respectfully request that if you are ill you do not come in for an appointment. Our cancellation policy remains in place, but if you call us the evening prior to or first thing in the morning of your appointment if you have become unwell overnight we will be most understanding!
Telehealth – our clinicians would like to extend this as an option to their patients (its a bit trickier for massage patients). If you are unwell or in isolation then we will arrange for your consultation to take place remotely for you – contact us here to arrange it for you.
Please look after yourself at this time. Minimising the spread of this (and in fact many other contagious diseases) can be done through maintaining strict hand hygiene, good cough and sneeze hygiene and etiquette, and doing what you can to maintain a strong healthy immune system as much as possible.
We all have a role to play in minimising the spread of this disease, and whilst most people who catch it will likely only experience mild symptoms it is important that we do what we can to avoid passing this disease to someone who is less likely to experience mild symptoms.
For now, Mind Harmony Psychology Clinics will remain open; however the situation is being monitored closely and we will update you should things change.
